Thoughts on the Ukraine Crisis

While the Russian occupation of the Crimea is regrettable, the U.S. hypocritical bluster about the intervention impressed no one, least of all Vladimir Putin.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Map of Ukraine Secretary of State John Kerry recently denounced Russia’s intervention in the Crimea by declaring, “It is not appropriate to invade a country, and at the end of a barrel of a gun dictate what you are trying to achieve.

That is not 21st-century, G8, major nation behaviour." Guess which country has a sordid history of invading countries. As the saying goes, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Mexico Truth Commission Prepares Final Report

In the Truth Commission's threadbare Acapulco office, a large banner with the young faces of disappeared Guerrero residents, most of them men but some women too, stands in the front room.

(LAS CRUCES, NM) - Violence in Guerrero, Mexico Forced displacements and disappearances. Vietnam-style strategic hamlets. Death flights over the Pacific.

All this and more terrorized the mountain communities near Acapulco, Mexico, during the years when the resort was reaching its apex as a favored international destination for fun-seeking beach lovers in the early and mid-1970s. In response to a popular guerrilla insurgency, the Mexican army and security forces escalated what became known as the Dirty War.

Rajapaksa Busy Exhausting His Tactics To Prevent A UN Resolution

Rajapaksa will be attending the meeting of the CHOGM to be held in London for fear of being further exposed to accusations of war crimes and human rights abuses let alone genocide leaving the disgraceful secretary Sharma to do the honours.

(COLOMBO Sri Lanka Guardian) - Sri Lanka Pres. Majinda Rajapakse Although the war and the related commission of crimes is over the human rights abuses keep recurring with impunity.

Numerous explanations are being attributed by the apologists for human rights abuses and war crimes that it is either too premature and or inopportune to hold an international investigation at this stage basing their arguments on very flimsy grounds.

Putin`s Price for Peace is Simple

Putin's price for peace is simple. The removal of the illegal Western-backed interim 'government' from Kiev. Otherwise he's moving in.

(WASHINGTON DC) - Russia-China map Behind the diplomatic verbiage, Russian President Putin was clearly on the offensive.

He let it be understood that unless the US and Europe rid Kiev of the “fascist gangs,” which had taken over, Moscow would move forces into additional parts of Ukraine to uphold its interests and “protect the Russian citizens and compatriots living there” for as long as the interim regime remained in Kiev.

Ukraine--Do you know? Why not??

Do you know according to polls if Crimeans were allowed to vote they would join with Russia?

(JAMESTOWN, RI) - Violence in Ukraine How about the irony or even the humor of John Kerry condemning Russia for “invading another country on a trumped up pretext”?

One might think media outlets would point out just how foolish his scolding sounds in light of our invasion and occupation of both Iraq and Afghanistan on “trumped up” claims.

Propaganda Rules The News

The Obama regime and its presstitutes will continue to lie about everything.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - News propaganda Gerald Celente calls the Western media “presstitutes,” an ingenuous term that I often use. Presstitutes sell themselves to Washington for access and government sources and to keep their jobs.

Ever since the corrupt Clinton regime permitted the concentration of the US media, there has been no journalistic independence in the United States except for some Internet sites.

We need the support of our readers and supporters more than ever...

(SALEM) - This world we live in is changing fast. The so-called good guys eliminate more human life and do more harm to the planet than we can even begin to understand.
