PRESS TV: Escalating Terror in Burma: Buddhist `969 Movement` Reignites Violence Against Minority Muslims

Hundreds of Rohingya people have been killed; tens of thousands suffer as refugees in camps where disease is rampant and food and shelter are scarce.

(SALEM) - Buddhist armed with gun "Terrorist" groups are frequently the banter of network news anchors and analysts; yet few in America devote time to the terrorists of Burma who have behaved treacherously toward the Muslim population for a year and a half now, due to old simmering hatreds and a desire among the majority population to live in a Buddhist only country.

The Buddhist answer toward their frustration with having to live with Muslims, is most vividly expressed in the "969" movement led by a Buddhist monk named U Wirathu.

Walled in by Zionist Ugliness

The grim horror now surrounding our 'Little Town of Bethlehem'.

(LONDON) - Israeli occupation wall London's Christmas was made gloomier this year and rightly so by the appearance in the courtyard of St James’s Church, Piccadilly, of a replica of the hated Israeli annexation Wall that threads its thieving way around the Palestinian West Bank http://bethlehemunwrapped.org/.

It's a lifesize representation of the actual 8metre high Wall surrounding Bethlehem and imprisoning its inhabitants. The project, called 'Bethlehem Unwrapped' is a response to a call from the united churches of the Holy Land pleading with churches and communities around the world to “help us get our freedom back”.

THE GUARDIAN: Time to End Israel`s Gaza Blockade

This blockade has also resulted in unacceptable limits on personal freedom. It is deplorable for us to allow this continuing collective punishment against Palestinians in Gaza.

(LONDON) - Today marks five years since the Israeli military launched missile and ground attacks on Gaza, which Israel named Operation Cast Lead. According to the UN, 1,383 Palestinians died as a result, including 333 children.

And what of the survivors? For the 1.7 million living in the tiny Gaza Strip, life has become increasingly desperate because of Israel's continuing blockade, backed by Egypt and with no effective challenge from governments around the world.

BETRAYAL Synopsis / Book Review

I highly endorse Bob and Tim's recommendation for the VA to adopt a Science Advisory Board with backgrounds in science to objectively evaluate toxic exposures on all 130 military installations on the EPA Superfund Cleanup list.

(SALT LAKE CITY) - Betrayal: Toxic Exposure of U.S. Marines, Murder and Government Cover-up "BETRAYAL" reports with precise, well-researched and written evidence of the denial of responsibility and cover-up of environmental contamination of Marines, civilians, their families and the public, at both El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, CA and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC.

This is personal to me because I was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune 1973-76, as was my WWII Marine father Walter C. Davis Jr. in 1943. My spouse Sandra and I lived at 2695 Bougainville, in the Tarawa Terrace on base housing area. My first son Caleb was conceived and born there June 16, 1975.

Oregon 15-Cent Minimum Wage Increase Still Not Enough To Make Ends Meet

"A higher wage floor is an effective anti-poverty strategy, and it can be implemented without affecting the job market." - Jason Gettel, policy analyst with the Oregon Center for Public Policy

(SILVERTON, OR) - Oregon Capital As calls for a higher minimum wage grow louder around the country, Oregon's wage floor is quietly set to rise by 15 cents at the start of the new year. The increase will add $312 to the yearly income of a full-time minimum wage worker.

"While the uptick in Oregon's minimum wage is welcome, it still leaves too many working families unable to meet basic needs," said Jason Gettel, policy analyst with the Oregon Center for Public Policy. "An even higher wage floor would be good for workers and our state."
