The latest report indicates over 100,000 pilgrims are trapped. Roads and bridges have been washed away or so badly damaged that normal vehicular traffic can’t pass.

Do police feeding a false confession to their victim mean well? When they falsely report on that procedure to a court do they mean well? When they use tape recorders but shut them off each time they feed the prisoner new facts, do they mean well? When they hide evidence?

(WASHINGTON DC) - Wrongly convicted prisoner There are probably more innocent men and women in prison in the United States now than there were people in prison here total -- innocent and guilty -- 30 years ago, or than there are total people in prison (proportionately or as an absolute number) in most nations on earth.

I don't mean that people are locked up for actions that shouldn't be considered crimes, although they are.

(UPDATE) Two Girls Struck by Car

A third girl, the patient's older sister, was also on scene but was not injured as she was not hit by the vehicle.

(OREGON CITY OR) - Scene where two girls were struck by a car Just after noon today two young girls were struck by a car while crossing the street in down town Oregon City. Clackamas Fire Engine 15 arrived to find two female patients ages 7 and 10 down on the ground.

The 10 year old girl had minor injuries and was taken to OHSU by American Medical Response (AMR) in good condition. The 7 year old girl suffered life threatening injuries after being struck by the vehicle and was taken to OHSU by AMR in serious condition.
