Salem High School Teacher Dies in Three Vehicle Crash

Emily Campbell, an English teacher at North Salem High School, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Apex Court Accepts Malik Ummad`s Application to Re-Open Rimsha`s Case

The Islamabad High Court previously dropped all charges.

(ISLAMABAD) - Rimsha Masih The Supreme Court of Pakistan accepted the plea of Rimsha’s accuser to seek to re-open her case. She is the Christian girl who was accused of blasphemy that had her case dismissed, or so we thought.

Earlier, on 16th January 2013, when the Supreme Court (SC) dismissed a final appeal in the case against Rimsha Masih, it effectively ended all legal proceedings on the issue.

(ISLAMABAD Dawn) - Flag of the Baloch Liberation Front A rudimentary ‘study circle’ was formed in London (in 1969) by some Marxist Pakistani students studying in colleges and universities there. About 25 students in the group used to meet to discuss various left-wing movements and literature.

They also began publishing a magazine called ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ that was highly critical of the Pakistani military’s role in the former East Pakistan.

Update from the New `Killing field` in Burma: 12 Masjids Burned & 4 Islamic Teachers Killed

State of emergency imposed in Meiktila.

(NEW YORK) - Scenes of devastation in Meiktila At least 12 mosques have been burned, and extremist Buddhist mobs are still hunting Muslims in the central Burmese town of Meiktila.

One report says that 28 students and 4 Islamic teachers were killed in one of the Islamic schools in the town, in the presence of police forces. The list of the dead included Hafiz Mohammad Ahtisham, Mawlana Mohammad Shafi, Mawlana Zakariya and Mufti Wajib.

This is the first year the OSFM has recorded that no child died as a result of fire.
