Portland Police Searching for Missing Tow Truck DriverSalem-News.comMr. Rolon-Centeno’s heart medications were discovered inside his tow truck.
(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Portland police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing tow truck driver. On Friday, March 28th, 61-year-old Dario Rolon-Centeno was reported as a Missing Person after having last been seen on Thursday, March 27th, at approximately 10:30 AM, as he was responding to a call for tow service. It is unknown if Mr. Rolon-Centeno ever arrived to his intended service call, as he has not been seen or heard from since leaving home that morning. He has no history of being missing before. During the evening on Friday, Mr. Rolon-Centeno’s 1992 white Isuzu Tow Truck was found by Portland police, legally parked on NW 22nd Avenue near NW Johnston Street, in Portland. His medications related to a heart condition, for which he was scheduled to undergo surgery in the near future, were discovered inside his tow truck. There was no immediate evidence that Rolon-Centeno has been the victim of a crime. However, detectives are investigating his sudden and unexpected disappearance as suspicious. Detectives have discovered new photographs depicting how they believe Mr. Rolon-Centeno was dressed the morning he disappeared. He is described as wearing a black raincoat, black jeans and cowboy boots. He may be wearing a gold necklace and bracelet, as well as a red and black baseball cap, which appears to have lightening bolts on top, and a white emblem, possibly of a goat, on the front. Detectives are asking anyone with information on Mr. Rolon-Centeno’s whereabouts to contact police immediately. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to a resolution in this case, and you remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357). Source: Portland Police
