(WOODBURN) - A Woodburn mother has been cited by police after her daughter was arrested last month for tagging a Woodburn business.

Woodburn police say they found graffiti on the Withers Lumber building on Young Street. Officers later spotted two teen girls, ages 15 and 16, walking near the scene with spray paint and a knife.

The two girls were taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Facility in Salem.

The mother of one of the suspects, Angilica Ibarra-Martinez, was cited for failure to supervise a minor committing a graffiti violation.
