(TUALATIN, Ore. ) - Late Saturday, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the report of an overturned vehicle on Highway 26 near the Bethany exit.

When firefighters from Station 61 arrived they found a vehicle, an overturned trailer in the ditch, and five lambs running along the hillside of Highway 26.

According to the driver, they had just purchased the lambs for 4H and lost the trailer when it popped off the hitch and slid across all lanes of traffic before overturning.

Firefighters and several motorists assisted to corral the wayward lambs.

Despite heavy traffic at the time of the accident, there were no injuries to motorists - or lambs - and the trailer was re-hitched and continued on its way.
