Be Aware! Salem-Area Road Construction ReportSalem-News.comProject's beginning Monday include Madrona Ave S, and Turner Road.
(SALEM) - City of Salem Public Works, Polk County Public Works, and the Oregon Department of Transportation want you to Be Aware! of some area road construction projects that begin on Monday. Please make a note of these projects, and if your commute takes you near one of these workzones expect minor back-ups and delays. If possible, use an alternate route to get to your destination. Madrona Ave S Between Biegler Ln S and Karen Ave S. Monday through 5/18 - 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Traffic reduced to one lane with flaggers for water line installation Turner Road under I-5: Monday through Thursday and April 29th through May 3rd, Turner Road will close from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Detour signs guiding traffic around Turner Road are in place. Watch for occasional daytime single-lane closures with traffic controlled by flaggers; expect delays. Please use alternate routes. Felton St S Between Ewald Ave S and North Dead End. Monday through 6/22 - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Street closure for water line installation. Karen Ave S Between Madrona Ave S and South Dead End. Monday through 6/22 - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Street closure for water line installation. The Polk County Public Works Department: Perrydale Road will be closed near Webb Lane from Monday through Wednesday. No thru traffic will be allowed. Perrydale Road will be accessible north of Webb Lane and south of Reed Lane.
