Online Classifieds are Free at Salem-News.comSalem-News.com Business Report"Free is a very good price" is the slogan Tom Peterson used for so many years, and we agree.
(SALEM, Ore.) - The Salem-News.com Classified ads are a marketplace for Oregon individuals and businesses who seek to hire employees, sell items, announce events, post garage sales, and offer other types of services. And if you don't see a category you can simply email is at newsroom@salem-news.com and our Web designer will create one to match your needs. The popular free Craigslist Website is a fantastic place to search for and offer items for sale, but in Oregon the group began charging for help wanted ads. We did not see that as a policy that would help people here, especially those trying to fill job slots, so their decision to implement a charge for those ads was our cue to launch our classifieds which are free in all respects. We hope people take advantage of the many ways this free section can be a plus and that they use it freely and often. We want the classifieds to grow and be a useful service to the community. "Free is a very good price" is the slogan Tom Peterson used for so many years, and we agree. Again, if you see a category that you think needs to be added, please write to us and tell us. Also, remember that Salem-News.com has 15,000 visitors daily and our advertising programs are limitless and can bring a great amount of attention to your business, for more information on advertising please write to Bonnie King at bonnie@salem-news.com.
