(SALEM) - A fire led to the evacuation of Salem's Sprague High School Monday morning. Fire Department Spokesman Bill Holmstrom says Salem firefighters responded to the commercial fire at 2373 Kuebler Road South just before 10:00 AM.

The first alarm brought 3 Engines, 1 Ladder Truck, and a Battalion Chief according to Holmstrom. The first arriving fire fighters discovered a small fire in the boy's bathroom.

The school was evacuated for approximately 30 minutes while fire fighters removed smoke from the building. No injuries were reported and the fire caused minimal damage.

Salem Fire investigators say the fire was deliberately set and an investigation is being conducted to determine who started the fire. If you have information please contact the Salem Fire Department at 503-588-6245.
