British Women Tossed in Israeli Prison had Hidden Video Camera

(SALEM, Ore.) - 13 British citizens, along with activists from dozens of other countries, traveled to Israel in July to determine once and for all whether Palestine's West Bank and Golan Heights are actually under a full illegal Israeli siege, like the one in the coastal Gaza Strip.

The unlucky 13 were stopped at Tel Aviv airport and five hours later, they and 120 other people were in a high security prison in Israel.

They arrived in Israel with the purpose of visiting Palestine, which under the long standing arrangement, visitors can only do if they expressly say they are not there to visit Palestine.

Palestine is an actual country, but it is not allowed an airport and therefore everyone going there has to travel through Ben Gurion Airport's customs before being able to step out of the airport.

The group of 13 from Swansea, Wales were participating in what became known as the Flytilla that actually received a great deal of press coverage, though little to none from the U.S.

One woman managed to smuggle out this hidden recorded video of their six nights locked up in the high security prison in Israel and it is revealing.

The video clips shows how the women were forced to scrub the prison floors in exchange for coffee. Life inside the hot cells and tense interactions with the Israeli guards were all captured.
