(OTIS, Ore.) - Oregon State Police troopers are on the scene of a fatal traffic crash on Highway 18, about two miles east of Highway 101 on the Oregon coast.

Police say the initial report indicates that a single vehicle went off the road, but there may be some blockage and travel delays in the area.

Drivers planning to use Highway 18 to reach the Oregon coast can take alternate routes via Highway 20 in Corvallis which leads to Toledo and Highway 101, and they can also take Valley Junction at Grande Ronde, this leads to Hebo, Oregon and Highway 101.
