(SALEM, Ore.) - A 31-year old female robbery victim called 911 last night after she and her boyfriend found a suspect inside their garage wearing nothing but underwear... her underwear. Lt. Sheila Lorance with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, says deputies responded to the report of a burglary in progress just after 10:00 p.m. in the 4500 Block of Prince Court NE. She says the victim told the dispatcher that her boyfriend, had the suspect detained and they were waiting for police to arrive. "When deputies arrived they made contact with the suspect, 47 year old Randall Joseph Giesbers, who was on the ground being held down by the victim's boyfriend," Lorance said. "Deputies interviewed Giesbers who was wearing women's underwear that the victim later identified as being taken from her garage. As they continued their investigation, deputies determined Giesbers was a neighbor and they located several large garbage bags full of women's clothing, underwear, shoes and accessories in his garage." Lorance says the victim was able to identify some of the clothing and said a few months ago she started noticing a lot of her clothes and underwear missing from her laundry in the garage. "Deputies also located a large number of illegal fireworks in Giesbers garage and contacted the Oregon State Police who responded and seized them." Giesbers was arrested for 10 counts of first-degree Burglary, first-degree Theft, 10 counts of second-degree Criminal Trespass, and 42 counts of Possession of Illegal Fireworks. "He was transported to the Marion County Jail and during the intake process was found to be wearing additional undergarments belonging to the victim," Lorance said.
