No injuries were reported in this multi-alarm fire.

Salem-News.com

(ALBANY) - Albany firefighters have put out a 2-alarm blaze in the historic Flinn Building in downtown Albany Wednesday morning.

Albany Fire Department spokeswoman Wanda Omdahl says the first call came in at about 4:30 AM.

The 1890s building was undergoing renovation.

Omdahl said the building houses nine businesses and a church downstairs, and four apartments upstairs were evacuated.

Corvallis and Adair Village firefighters were called in to help extinguish the fire.

Omdahl says there is significant smoke damage to the building.

No injuries were reported.
