Search Underway on Oregon Coast for Two Missing Campers

(TILLAMOOK, Ore. ) - Tillamook County Search and Rescue teams will be out looking for two male campers who failed to return to their campsite early Tuesday morning.

Nicholas Santangelo were last seen late Monday night

The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office says the two men, ages 35 and 53, left their campsite around 11:30 a.m. from the Cedar Creek Campgrounds off Oregon Highway 6 in a 1998 dark blue Ford Explorer with Oregon License Plate WBR922, and were to return around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Tillamook County Search and Rescue, Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon Department of Forestry and U.S. Army Air Assets are involved in the search.

If you see the men, or the vehicle contact the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office or 9-1-1.
