Two Oregon Guard Soldiers Killed in Iraq

The names of the deceased will be withheld for 24 hours pending release by the U.S. Department of Defense.

Two Oregon National Guard soldiers with the 41st Brigade Combat Team were killed Friday in Iraq.

(BAGHDAD, Iraq) - Two Oregon National Guard members were killed and one wounded during a convoy security mission in eastern Baghdad, Iraq, Friday. The soldiers are members of the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team with the 13th Sustainment Command- Expeditionary.

The injured was reportedly taken to a combat support hospital for treatment with no additional information on status of injuries.

They are part of a group of approximately 3,500 Oregon Guard soldiers who deployed to Iraq for a year long assignment. No further updates on the injured soldier.

The names of the deceased will be withheld for 24 hours pending release by the U.S. Department of Defense.

All families have been notified.

While I was vigorously advocating against the bush wars, I had plenty of liberal democratic organizations by my side. Now that I am advocating against the obama wars, I stand alone. WHERE DID THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC ORGANIZATIONS GO? What the heck is going on???
