Students Alarmed by Threatening Graffiti at West Salem HighTim King Salem-News.comThe graffiti contained an apparent threat for December 6th.
(SALEM, Ore.) - A series of threats scrawled on the walls of the boy's bathroom at West Salem High School has students and parents alarmed. We did not learn of this until Wednesday night and were unable to confirm information with authorities. While there is no reference to it on the school Website, West Salem High apparently issued a call to student's families, one parent told us, "The school sent strange recorded messages to parents. Mine said something about the boy's bathroom, that police were involved and school would go on as usual tomorrow." The West Salem High student parent who contacted Salem-News.com says this is the third occurrence of this nature, with threatening graffiti left on the bathroom walls. "The kids are saying it is a threat to hurt other students possibly tomorrow Thursday December 6th." "Kids are pretty scared. Rumors have been rampant" this parent added. The school district does not have information about this possible threat on their Website and there is no message on the school's telephone.

No other explanation. Hasn't the school systems learned from prior experiences? It would be nice if they would let us know more information about these threats. After all, we are talking about the wellfare of our children! [Return to Top]View Most Commented on Leave a comment on this story.
