(ALBANY, Ore.) - Albany Police Department Seeking information in locating two suspects Albany Police are looking for two armed suspects, and they hope somebody in the public can help them locate these two subjects wanted in connection with two separate incidents. "Both subjects were reported to have been armed during the commission of their crime and should be considered armed at this time," Detective Sergeant Marv Hammersley said. Suspect #1 He says the first subject is wanted in connection with the November 27th 2007 knife-point robbery of a woman in Albany's K-Mart parking lot, at 3100 SE Pacific Boulevard. The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-twenties in age, 5'2' to 5'3" in height and of average build. The suspect has dark hair and was wearing blue jeans and a dark colored sweatshirt, according to Hammersley. "The suspect was reportedly armed with a butcher knife and fled in a white two-door Honda Accord which was later found to have been stolen out of Lane County." Suspect #2 Det. Marv Hammersley says the second subject is wanted in connection with an Attempted Murder investigation. On December 1st 2007, Heriberto Victorio Gonzalez reportedly forced his way into the residence of his former girlfriend, threatening to kill both she and her current boyfriend. "Numerous shots were fired at the woman and her current boyfriend both within her residence," Hammersley said. Story continues below "And outside of the residence at different points. Numerous bullet holes were located by investigating officers and the girlfriend was struck once in the lower leg during the incident." Gonzalez finally fled in a silver or "champagne colored" GMC Yukon bearing Oregon license plate ZWG-350, Hammersley said. "Indications are that Gonzalez may have fled to the northern California area." Anyone with information in either of these cases is asked to contact the Albany police Department at 541-917-7680.
