One Person Dies in Crash Near Rickreall

(RICKREALL, Ore.) - Oregon State Police troopers are on the scene of a fatal traffic crash in the 10700 block of Highway 223 west of Highway 99W in Polk County.

They say there is one confirmed victim and the highway is reportedly blocked, according to officials with the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Anyone planning to use the road may want to consider an alternate route.

Police say that no more information is available to release, at this time, and they may not release more possibly until Monday.
