(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - McMinnville Police and McMinnville Fire Units were dispatched to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the intersection of SW Agee and Shelton Street McMinnville this morning at 7:47 a.m. Captain Matt Scales with McMinnville Police, says the driver of the vehicle, Scott Lee Albert of 1647 SW Shelton Street McMinnville, OR, was operating a 1981 Chevrolet Blazer in the area of SW Shelton and Agee Street. "As Mr. Albert was negotiating a turn northbound onto SW Agee Street he struck two pedestrians who appeared to be in the constructive crosswalk. Mr. Albert immediately stopped and is cooperating fully with the investigation." Scales says one of the pedestrians, 14-year old Dylan Arthur Granger, was not injured as a result of the collision. The other pedestrian, 14-year old Jesus Anibal Arriaga, was initially transported to Willamette Valley Medical Center for treatment. He was later transferred to Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, OR due to the injuries he sustained. The crash remains under investigation and no citations have been issued.
