Artist Glen Bledsoe shares a memorable story of he and his brother, one Christmas back in time.

(SALEM) - This is the story of one of my first lessons as a teacher, thought I was too young to know it at the time.

When I was just a boy, I taught my youngest brother to write... with a little incentive using a letter to Santa.

Thank you, Henry. As I've said, I'm not sure that I would recommend the technique as a method of teaching reading to all students. I called my mother and asked her if she remembered the incident. She laughed, but couldn't recall it. It's a story which I will carry with me for as long as I live.

This one deserves attention for sensitivity of learnings by both brothers. Is it possible to provide full-view for incoming legislators ? Fine effort, Glen. Will win well-deserved place in many family albums...
