Salem-News.com Resumes Normal Operations

Salem-News.com's regular flow of news has been severely affected by weather, but we are back.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Our normal operations have been severely impacted in recent days and our staff looks forward to getting back up to speed in terms of coverage for our residents.

Oregon has been under a blanket of snow and the impact from the cold weather had been far reaching. Roads are better now on the day after Christmas but still treacherous in many areas.

Residents should expect more reports from our newsroom in the coming days outlining upcoming weather patterns and other news.

We offer our most sincere apologies for those who count on us. Equipment and Internet failures are a difficult thing to get around when vehicles can't reach repair points.

We hope that all of our visitors are having a wonderful holiday season, whatever your faith may be.

We also hope that residents in the cold NW can continue to extend their best side for their neighbors.
