(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Cold air in place over the Northwest today will bring snow to coastal areas of Washington and Oregon, while the Santa Ana winds in Southern California begin to ease.

The Accuweather.com Winter Weather Center reports as much as three to six inches of snow could fall today in Portland, with as much as a foot forecast in parts of the Cascades.
