(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Police say a 15-year old boy either fell or jumped to his death today from a parking garage. Officers responded today at 3:30 p.m. to the parking garage in the area of SW 6th Avenue and Washington Street in downtown Portland, according to Detective Mary Wheat with the Portland Police Bureau.

"When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy deceased at the scene. Officers interviewed witnesses at the scene who stated that the deceased boy had fallen or jumped from the parking garage."

Wheat says Portland Police detectives and representatives from the Medical Examiner's Office were called to the location of this incident to investigate the cause and manner of death.

"At this time, investigators are attempting to determine if this incident was a suicide or an accident," Wheat said.

Investigators have determined that there were no signs of foul play.
