(PORTLAND, Ore.) - NOTE: Police in Tualatin say 12-year old Desiree Spring Cruz returned home Sunday afternoon, February 1st 2009.

*****************Original report*****************

Police in Tualatin say 12-year old Desiree Spring Cruz was reported as a missing person by her parents Friday night at 10:32 p.m.

Desiree reportedly frequents the Portland area; she was last reported to be at the Lloyd Center Mall Friday around 4:30 p.m. with friends, however she reportedly left with a teenage male who has not yet been identified, who may live in the Portland area.

Tualatin Police say she pretends to be older than twelve and reportedly tells people she is actually 15-years old.

She is considered to be at risk due to her young age, and the inconsistent and suspicious nature of the way she became missing.

Desiree is described as a Hispanic female juvenile, 12-years old, five foot five inches tall, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light blue long sleeve shirt, with a tank top, light blue "skinny" jeans, black converse tennis shoes, and carrying a back pack.

Police hope anyone with information on the whereabouts of 12-year old Desiree Cruz will contact the Tualatin Police Department at 503-629-0111.
