Murder Investigation Underway in Milwaukie, OregonSalem-News.comInvestigators are asking for the assistance of anyone who may have witnesses anything unusual there.
(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) - A report of a person down in a business at 6:20 AM this morning sent Clackamas County deputies to 17869 SE McLoughlin Boulevard in Milwaukie. When deputies arrived they found a male with obvious trauma. The person, identified as 59-year old Gurdev Sohi who lived in the Oregon City area, was deceased. Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says the location is a Texaco station and Express Oil Lube business. The area was secured and detectives responded. "Detectives are not releasing the nature of the trauma at this time that caused the death. There are no suspects identified at this time, however the scene is being investigated as a murder." He says detectives are attempting to determine a motive at this time. Green says they are asking for the assistance of anyone who may have witnesses anything unusual there. "If the public saw anything suspicious or out of the ordinary between the times of 4:30 AM and 6:30 AM in the area of SE McLoughlin Blvd and between SE Boardman Rd and SE Jennings Ave to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at (503)723-4949." Further information will be released as it becomes available.
