Police Find Man Dead Man on Street

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.

(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) - Milwaukie Police responded to a report of a subject lying on the side of the road on SE River Road, just south of SE McLoughlin Boulevard at 7:44 PM.

Arriving officers found a male subject who had suffered from a fatal gunshot wound. The subject, identified at this time as a 32-year old Milwaukie man, died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The incident is being investigated by the Milwaukie Police Department and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner.
