(DAYTON, Ore.) - Two Yamhill County men are hospitalized following a fight at the Ferry Street Landing Tavern in Dayton where they are alleged to have been stabbed by a third man who was arrested later last night. Yamhill County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the fight at 400 Ferry Street Wednesday evening at 9:36 PM.

Sheriff's Office Spokesman Captain Ken Summers says the suspect had fled the scene prior to the Deputies arrival.

"The two victims, 52-year old Yasar Uzun of Newberg, and 45-year old Robert Danielson of McMinnville were transported via ambulance to the Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville. Both victims underwent surgery and were admitted to the hospital," Summers said.

Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree said that the investigation led them to identify the suspect as 58-year old Aldeberto Montelongo, of 206 Mill Street in Dayton.

"My Deputies located Montelongo at his residence, where he was arrested without incident." The Deputies were assisted by Officers from the McMinnville Police Departments and Oregon State Police.

Montelongo was lodged at the Yamhill County Correctional Facility for two counts of first-degree Felony Assault. He will be arraigned today at 1:15 PM roday.

Summers says the investigation is continuing.
