(ALOHA, Ore.) - Nobody was injured in a drive-by shooting that was reported at 19965 S.W. York Street in Aloha early this morning, just after midnight. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office were called out to investigate.

Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says several bullets struck the occupied house, but no one inside was injured. The Interagency Gang Enforcement Team is investigating the shooting.

"They determined that a fast moving vehicle fired several shots at the residence. There were four adults and two children inside the home at the time of the shooting; none of them was injured."

Thompson says the person who they believe was the intended victim of the drive-by shooting, also was not injured.

"The incident appears to have been gang related and the victims have been uncooperative with investigators. The Washington County Interagency Gang Enforcement Team is investigating the incident," Thompson said.

Anyone with information should contact the Gang Team at (503)846-5850 or by e-mail at gang@co.washington.or.us. People who give tips can remain anonymous.
