Wheatland Ferry Closing Due to High River LevelsSalem-News.com
(SALEM) - The Marion County Public Works Department says the Wheatland Ferry will be closing Friday at 6:00 PM due to projected high river levels. Once the river level receeds to a safe operating level, the ferry will re-open. The ferry is located one mile north of the Yamhill–Polk county border,and shuttles passengers across the Willamette River, linking Marion with Yamhill and Polk counties.
