From southern Oregon, to the Oregon coast, Eugene, Salem, Portland, Bend and eastern Oregon and all points in between, we need help reaching out to business, and would eventually like to have permanent contract representatives in all of these locations.

Regional Sales

Salem-News.com has several writers on the east coast of the U.S., and even more in California. Each of these regions has a good reason to advertise on Salem-News.com, as our stories are already showing regularly under Internet searches in the respective areas.

National Sales

One dynamic about Salem-News.com is our international presence. Our reporters have spent time on the ground in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, Palestine and Lebanon, and we have regular contributions from staff members in different parts of Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Japan, Vietnam and other locations. We are a huge site for American ex-pats and we have significant traffic from Canada, the UK and other western countries, and also strong traffic from the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan and many other countries. We believe the site is extremely viable as a marketing option all types of national products.

How it works

All sales positions with Salem-News.com are contract sales positions. We pay 25% commission for all sales, this is considerably higher than most media groups. Positions are staffed by motivated people who know how to sell and have some idea of what Internet news is and the associated types of advertising.
