Juan Ortiz-Cisneros and Juan Cisneros-Espinoza are sought by police, they are both considered armed and dangerous

(Salem) - An early morning shooting at 4125 Center St. NE in Salem left one person dead, and police searching for two suspects they believe are connected to the homicide that occurred sometime after midnight Sunday.

Salem Police Lt. Jim Anglemier says 21-year old Silvano Gonzalez of Salem was shot at least once. His body was discovered in the parking lot of the Centerpointe Apartments.

Witnesses at the scene spotted two men leaving the scene after the shooting. At this point, 20-year old Juan Bernardo Ortiz-Cisneros and 20-year old Juan Manuel Cisneros-Espinoza, suspects in the shooting, remain at large. Investigators say it is possible that the victim and suspects knew each other, though no motive has been established at this time.

Police say Ortiz-Cisneros is considered armed and dangerous. He is the subject of a temporary felony murder warrant. Anglemier says no one should attempt to apprehend either man. Instead, contact Salem Police at (503) 588-6123 or dial 911.

Ortiz-Cisneros is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 165 pounds, with short, black hair and brown eyes.

Cisneros-Espinoza is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, with short, black hair and brown eyes.

The car that Ortiz-Cisneros and Cisneros-Espinoza were observed leaving in, a purple Plymouth Breeze, was located early Sunday after it was apparently abandoned near the old mushroom factory on Center Street and Cordon Road SE.
