Vancouver Police Investigate Homicidal Stabbing

The name of the victim and suspect are not being released at this time as police and the Medical Examiners Office will be working to notify family members.

(VANCOUVER, Wash.) - Vancouver Police responded to 405 Memphis Way at approximately 5:00 a.m. today over a disturbance at the residence.

Sergeant S. Creager with the Vancouver Police Major Crimes Unit says officers arrived and found a female victim who had been stabbed with an unknown weapon. The victim subsequently died.

A male suspect was taken into custody and is being interviewed by Detectives as part of the investigation. Detectives are processing the incident scene and the investigation will continue.
