Keizer Police Officers Recognized During Awards CeremonySalem-News.comEmployees were recognized for service in 2007.
(KEIZER, Ore.) - The Keizer Police Officer’s Association hosted their annual Christmas banquet in December. Keizer Police Chief H. Marc Adams says the event allows him an opportunity not only to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of every department member and volunteer, but also to recognize those individuals who were selected to receive individual awards for their performance in 2007. In addition to the individual annual awards, Chief Adams recognized several individuals for their years of service to the Keizer Police Department and citizens of Keizer. The following is a list of who was recognized in each category: POLICE OFFICER OF THE YEAR: SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR: MICHAEL ALEXANDER EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR: RESERVE OFFICER OF THE YEAR: VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR: FIVE-YEAR EMPLOYMENT SERVICE PLAQUE: TEN-YEAR SERVICE PLAQUE: FIFTEEN-YEAR EMPLOYMENT SERVICE PLAQUE: Officer Tyler Wampler – Officer Wampler was hired by the Keizer Police Department on January 5th 1992. He has been assigned to Patrol and is currently assigned as a School Resource Officer at Whiteaker Middle School. Officer Juan Mendoza – Officer Mendoza was hired by the Keizer Police Department on March 16th 1992. He has been assigned to Patrol and the Traffic Safety Team. He is currently assigned as a patrol officer on a patrol team. TWENTY-YEAR EMPLOYMENT SERVICE PLAQUE:
