2-Vehicle Crash Sends Three to Oregon Health Sciences University

All three victims transported were from the same vehicle.



(SALEM) - A two-vehicle crash in Salem sent three people to Oregon Health Sciences Hospital in a life flight helicopter Saturday.

Sgt Jeff Wheeler with the Marion County Sheriff's Office says the 2:53 PM crash happened in the 9400 block of Enchanted Way SE in Salem.

The three occupants of one vehicle were transported by ground ambulance to Salem Hospital and then life flighted to OHSU.

The injured people were 23-year old Sara J. Wood, 18-month old Brayson Wood, and four-year old Ethan Wood.

Wheeler says the full extent of injuries was not available at the time of this release. He added that the driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the accident.

The crash is currently being investigated by the Marion County Sheriff's Office Crash Team.
