Over the past few days, we had received warnings to “back off” from sources around the world and some here at home. We are more than a bit unlikely to do that. With news being such as it is, worthless drivel peddled by...

I don’t even have the energy to go there. If you don’t know already, you are unlikely to be reading these words. Years ago, the government went after Mike Ruppert and his website, copvcia.com for going after American involvement in international drug importation.

Our stories, not purposefully, but out of necessity, have been heading that direction. It is hard to discuss the war in Afghanistan without tripping over the hundreds of tons of opium and tens of billions of dollars that seem to miss the MSM mainstream press.

Mike had his computers smashed, fled the country and eventually developed a mysterious illness that nearly killed him. The list of dead investigative reporters, for those of you with the time and effort to make a google search, is substantial.

Their lives are worth less than Democratic Senators. Two of my favorites were Gary Webb and Steve Kanga but there are more, so many more that it is easy to see why turning on the news is so sickening. Maybe taking the money from the DC mafia and keeping your mouth shut is worth it.

My PTSD kicked in along ago and I simply don’t care. Now I find myself surrounded by similar people, similar and beyond. I have never been so proud.

Are we, the USA, the CIA and our allies, the Mossad, RAW and others just another drug gang in a war over money? Could it be that simple?

Or, are we involved in a massive war on terror against 2 dozen illiterate tribesmen that is taking half our lives and bankrupting the most wealthy and powerful nation on the planet?

Let me get back to you when I finish figuring it out. It is going to be a tough one.

With a veteran and military readership at our heart, one that has expanded internationally over the past two years, we have become very “participation driven.”

We have attracted a 3 dozen or more well known writers, intelligence analysts and military officers, some as writers, more ad continual sources. Even we withhold information when the lives of troops in the field or innocent civilians are at risk. We hope we have earned the trust we have been awarded by so many.

Let me, out of vanity, believe we are the victim of a great international plot, not some kid in Sidney, Australia who cracked out site on a 7 inch floppy attached to a Commodore 64. Our pride demands better quality enemies. If we don’t have them yet, we will work hard to make them. This is my promise to you.

Mike ,the US still runs the canal .The new President signed another 99 yr lease promptly . My issue is Panama had every right to take control after the lease was up providing money and power to Panama that they deserve [its thier country] .We stole it by military force and trickery that makes us thugs and then you wonder why they hate the USA .

Mr Gordon ,turn up the heat brother ! Start naming names ,put those that harrass threaten ect. out front so the world can see those responsible . Even when I read the Dark Alliance by Gary Webb the names were absent .When a goverment agency kills a story on sixty minutes shout it from the mountain . This is the agency this is the person from that agency who threatened to sue charge or otherwise silence the truth .This is the company that bought the offending news group and retracted the stories and these are the people behind them ect. Its too bad the internet was just starting to become mainstream when folks like Gary were pulling back the curtain .If you want to turn up the heat point the finger ,not at just the institutions but the people behind them .The all powerfull OZ loses his power when the curtain is drawn . I know we cant do much about those who operate in the corprate structure but we can sure turn the heat up on goverment institutions themselves and those they support . Its not as simple as drug gangs like the CIA . Invading Panama was also about retaining the canal which many people still dont realize ,install puppet and BINGO new 99 year lease. Does anyone find it odd that every conflict we have been involved in for the last twenty years or more involve CIA assests ? Panama ,afghanistan ,Iraq ,the list goes on . Turn on the light and watch them scurry for cover .We are watching but the lack of tangible targets to pinpoint hampers any real effort .

Mr. Gordon Duff. I have never been in military service. I won't do it because I am against unjust wars. My father served in the National Guard. He served on American soil like he was supposed to. I will not join the military in the foreseeable future today because of all these things 'you' and 'I' know about corruption. I am a patriot, I love my country, and have shed more than a tear for American people [not elected officials]. Not one for oil America, or opium America, or corporate America. I just hope there is a place for people like me... This [post] is dedicated to all the patriots of America who refuse to serve. I will never be as hard as a Marine. I could... I have been told so by ex-Marines who were my employers at a factory, (I did think they were a-holes, though!).I don't know what I'm trying to say; just because I've never been a Marine, don't second-guess my patriotism.
