RETRACTION regarding 'Act for America!'

Statements regarding Brigitte Gabriel have been retracted.

(SALEM, Ore.) - RETRACTION: Our apologies. The article "Lebanon's Maid of Darkness Facing US Hate Crimes Investigation" had certain statements that were not well substantiated or without foundation, and therefore it has been removed.

We hereby retract the specific statements, “Recently however, [Brigitte Gabriel] has attracted the attention of the FBI investigating her organization, “Act for America!” for possible hate crimes and financial irregularities, according to US Congressional Judiciary Committee sources[,]” and,

“According to her ACT office in Virginia Beach, [Brigitte Gabriel] hopes to host the current Lebanese Forces warlord, Samir Geagea...”

According to the Keel Group, the law firm that represents ACT! For America, Inc. (“ACT!”):

1. ACT! is not being investigated by the FBI for possible hate crimes and financial irregularities.

2. ACT! has had no contact with or Dr. Lamb from its Virginia Beach office.

3. ACT! is not an anti-Islam “hate group” nor does ACT! engage in any so called “hatespeech” as referenced by Dr. Lamb.

4. ACT! has had an untarnished record of encouraging open dialogue and supporting the rights and legal privileges of all individuals. makes every effort to publish the most accurate and factual information possible. When mistakes are made (to err is human) and it is brought to our attention, we make changes as soon as possible.
