Four Southern Oregon Men Arrested on Multiple Sex Abuse Charges

Detectives believe there may possibly be other victims.

(CENTRAL POINT) - A seven month Oregon State Police investigation has led to the arrest of four southern Oregon men on sex-related crimes.

Contact with the victim allegedly occurred after the suspects met the victim following internet chats.

Oregon State Police Detective Blain Allen began the investigation about seven months ago after receiving information that a 15-year old male from Jackson County was conversing with the suspects via a personal Internet chat site.

The investigation, which led to suspects in Jackson, Josephine, Douglas and Coos counties, alledged they traveled to Jackson County to have personal contact with the victim.

Three suspects were arrested about one months ago.

23-year-old Mathew Prinslow, from Rogue River, was arrested on ten counts of Sodomy in the Third Degree.

23-year-old Trenton Ray, from Grants Pass, was arrested on ten counts of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree.

38-year-old Richard Steele, from Winston, was arrested for Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree and Compelling Prostitution.

A fourth suspect, 56-year-old Craig Lunt, from Bandon, was arrested January 25th and lodged in the Coos County Jail on four counts of Sodomy in the Third Degree and one count of Rape in the Third Degree.

Detectives believe there may possibly be other victims or information related to this investigation.
