U.S. Air Force Gulf War Veteran Raped

(CANBY) - Canby police are investigating what they are calling a forcible rape and sex abuse incident. The alleged rape occurred in the southeast part of Canby between 9:00 PM Friday and 4:00 AM Saturday.

The female victim reported that five males entered her apartment through an open front door and two of them forcibly raped her. No suspects have been arrested in the case as of Sunday morning.

Investigators say they are currently looking into the possibility that this may be a gang-related incident.

The 42-year-old woman is a Gulf War veteran who served in the Air Force. Anyone with any information on this incident please contact the Canby Police Department (503) 266 1104.
