Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller, says deputies are investigating an attempted murder that occurred in Albany that resulted in a car chase by the intended victims that ended in the Oakville area west of Tangent.
Early Sunday morning at around 2:00 AM, residents on SW Queen St in Albany reported their house had been shot at. Linn County Sheriff’s detectives later discovered that five rounds hit the house, according to Mueller.

He says the vehicle was stopped by Linn County Sheriff deputies on Church Drive. Three suspects, all from Lebanon, were taken into custody without incident.
"During the chase a suspect in the back of the pickup fired approximately 10 rounds at the two vehicles chasing them. Both vehicles were struck several times each." Mueller said.
The driver of the pickup, 18-year old Bradley John Zurfluh, was arrested and charged with six counts of Attempted Murder, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Silencer, DUII and PCS less than an ounce of marijuana.
18-year old Dylan Thomas Debutts was charged six counts of Attempted Murder and Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
A passenger in the pickup, 19-year old Eric William Kauth, was charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was cited and released.
Zurfluh and Debutts were transported to the Linn County Jail.
Two firearms were seized from the suspects. They were according to Mueller, "a Ruger 10-22 semi automatic .22 caliber rifle with a homemade silencer attached to muzzle, and a Raven Arms .25 caliber semi automatic pistol. Both firearms are owned by Zurfluh."
None of the victims were injured in the incident. Linn County Sheriff’s Detectives are also assisting in the investigation.
