Deputies ask Public to Watch for Missing Aloha Man

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Police are looking for a 55-year-old man missing from Aloha who is Schizophrenic and needs his medication. Donald Errend has not been seen since yesterday evening.

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a man missing from a group home in Aloha Wednesday at 6:49 PM. 55-year-old Donald Errend is a diagnosed Schizophrenic and regularly takes medication for his condition.

Yesterday he went shopping at the Fred Meyer store located at S.W. Tualatin Valley Highway and SE Century Boulevard in Hillsboro. He was scheduled to return home at about 2:30 PM via Tri-Met, but he never arrived.

Deputies checked the area and contacted Tri-Met who said Mr. Errend never got on the bus.

He is described as 6-feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He always wears glasses and had on an unknown colored baseball cap. He was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt and may have been wearing a Khaki coat.

Detectives are asking anyone who has seen Mr. Errend in the last 36 hours to call the Sheriff’s Office 503-629-0111.
