Log Pile Fire in Woodburn Threatens Barn

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

(WOODBURN, Ore. ) - On Tuesday just after 7:00 PM, Woodburn and Hubbard Fire Districts responded to a report of a barn fire at 12295 Dimmick Ln, in Woodburn.

On arrival the first engine found a log pile on fire threatening a barn.

Crews deployed lines to protect the barn and then extinguished the fire.

The log pile was part of a small sawmill operation on the property.

Woodburn Fire District responded with 3 engines and 2 tenders, Hubbard Fire District responded with 1 engine and 1 tender.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
