Stabbing Suspect Caught in California (UPDATEDSalem-News.comFresno Police in California arrested fugitive Jason Earl Nelson at approximately 1:00 AM July 5th, on attempted-murder charges.
(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing incident at the address of 29750 SW Courtside Drive, in Wilsonville, according to Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. He says preliminary information from detectives at the scene reveals this incident involves a 54-year old male victim; who is believed to have been stabbed by a relative, identified as Jason Earl Nelson; born in October, 1988. Fresno Police in California arrested Jason Earl Nelson, described as a fugitive in the case, at approximately 1:00 AM July 5th, on attempted-murder charges. Strovink says he is also wanted for a burglary and parole violation in Clackamas County. The 54-year old victim was air lifted to a Portland area hospital in critical condition.
