Tour B-17, B-24 Wednesday Through Friday at McNary Field

(SALEM) - Tour two pieces of aviation history this week at Salem`s McNary Field.

The Wings of Freedom Tour, which features WWII era aircraft, will touch down in Salem on Wednesday.

Those attending will be able to tour a B-17 Flying Fortress and a B-24 Liberator.

Tours on Wednesday will begin sometime between 2:00 and 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

At 5:00 PM, flights aboard the two bombers will begin.

Thursday tours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flights will start at 8:00 AM, and again at 5:00 PM.

On Friday, Flights will be available at 8 AM until noon. Tours will take place when the planes are not giving flight tours.

Tours are $8 for adults, and $5 for children under 12.

Flight tours cost $425 per-person and is tax-deductible.
