Arson investigation
Salem-News.com

(SALEM) - Two 15-year-old girls were both charged with Arson 1 for starting the fire in the girl's bathroom at Sprague High School. Investigators say they are still looking for information on the Arson Fire at the concession stand.

Sprague High School was the scene of a second arson fire within the last week. The first fire on Wednesday June 14th was set in the girl's bathroom.

The most recent fire was discovered in the outside concession stand by the stadium. Fire investigators say it is fortunate that the fire burned itself out and damage was kept to a minimum.

Investigators feel an accelerant had been used to start this fire. At this time they are not sure if the two fires are connected. Luckily no has been injured by either fire and damage has been kept to minimum.

If anyone has any information they are urged to contact the Salem Fire Department or Salem Police Department at 503-588-6245.
