(ALOHA, Ore. ) - A small explosive device went off inside a portable restroom during a softball game injuring one person at an Aloha park.

The Washington County Sheriff's office says they were called to Arnold Park at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The bomb squad reported the device was made from chemicals that are available at most department stores, and would detonate when they combined.

A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries, and police say they were lucky there were not more injuries.

The bomb squad determined that the device could have done much more damage and injured more people when it exploded.

The International School of Beaverton was also searched and cleared.

Then at about 4:00 p.m., a similar device went off in a mailbox in a nearby neighborhood. Nobody was hurt in that incident.

Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the Washington County Sheriff's office.
