Man Sexually Assaults Teen Girl in SE Salem Home

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The Marion County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man suspected of breaking into a southeast Salem home and sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Sheriff's spokesman Sergeant Chris Baldridge says the incident happened at a residence located on State Street SE. The man was described as small, about 5'5, thin build, shoulder length hair pulled back into a pony tail. He was wearing basketball shorts and a tank top or cut off shirt, Baldridge said.

Anyone who may have seen this person between the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on June 22, near 46th Ave SE and State Street, please call the Sheriff's Office Tip Line at 503-540-8079.
