McMinnville Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

The man was arrested on ten counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the second degree.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - McMinnville Police say they received information that a McMinnville resident named Peter O'Hara, of McMinnville was in possession of child pornography.

McMinnville Police Captain Rob Edgell says that based on that information, officers began an investigation and found numerous child pornography photographs downloaded on Mr. O'Hara's laptop computer.

After being interviewed by officers he was taken into custody and lodged at the Yamhill County Correctional facility on ten counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the second degree.

Edgell says Peter D. O'Hara, who is 50-years old, resides on Goucher Street in McMinnville.

His bail was set at $50,000.00.
