Update: Amber Alert Cancelled in WashingtonSalem-News.comPolice say they were never able to establish a victim in the incident that was reported by a small child.
(EVERETT, Wa.) - Police in Everett, Washington say a student from Discovery Elementary witnessed a male grab a boy and force him into his vehicle. It was reported to have happened at 8:00 AM, at 11700 Meridian Ave on Monday. But at this point they have lifted the Amber Alert, as the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office has been unable to indentify a victim and has no further information on a possible missing child. The boy is described as a 5 to 7-year old, 3 foot 6 inches tall, unknown weight or hair color. He was wearing a dark colored knit cap, and a dark colored coat. He also had a backpack. The suspect is described as Hispanic male in his early 20's, wearing a dark red raincoat. The vehicle police are looking for is as a blue van with windows, possibly a Mitsubishi.
