(MEXICO CITY) - This arrest in Pakistan is a top story headline at Google news, but it fails to mention that Adam Gadahn had converted to radical Islam while living with his Jewish Zionist grandfather who was an official of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

He was born Adam Gadahn, the son of Philip Gadahn (born Pearlman), who converted to Christianity from Judaism. Sometimes Adam would visit his paternal grandparents, Carl and Agnes Pearlman, in Santa Ana, where he would swim with neighborhood children and family friends.

Adam’s grandfather, Dr. Carl Pearlman was a respected urologist, a patron of the arts, a board member and official of the Anti-Defamation League (Israeli Lobby).

I read all the stuff on the links to this news item and found this situation to be quite murky. The only thing clear about Adam Gadhan is that he is not who he claims to be. I was particularly struck by the fact that he was "picked up" by Pakistani security agents in Karachi. It would seem that we might want to know more about the circumstances of the arrest in order to determine if the arrest itself was genuine. It appears more likely that this individual may be a spy coming in from the cold, perhaps a Mossad spy who has completed his mission in Waziristan. What the nature of that mission was, we will surely never know. The scanty evidence and information we have on Adam seems to point to him as an agent provocateur sent to Afghanistan to gin up radical muslim violence. It will be interesting to see what happens to him now that he is in the custody of the western security apparatus. Will he disappear or somehow take his own life in a US prison cell? His is a story worth following as I am nearly certain that he will not rot in prison. Should he somehow escape, he will become an even more valuable asset to western intelligence as he will be even more trusted by those folks who are high up on the jihadist inner network.

Glad to see this hoax unravelling...Pearlman was a fake "terrorist", used to keep us scared and subservient. Im sure the US will, like Bin Laden, make sure he gets away. Maybe a little waterboarding will get this spoiled rich kid yapping. He is right up there with the lying daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador who tearfully told Congress about Iraqi troops taking babies out of incubators..(she claimed to be a nurse..she was not and the story was a total lie, but it helped get HW Bush's war going.)

So Carl Pearlman's grandson, Adam Gadhan, has been busted and is in custody of a torturous ally of the USG. It is unclear what charges the US has sought him on for the past six years, or exactly what crime he has committed to warrant a million dollar reward for him, but now that they have him, they will come up with some something or other I am sure. "...he knows something about the " 'network' in the US,..." whatever network they are talking about, and which has also not been defined as anything illegal, other than a group of people with common religious or political beliefs, both of which freedoms are guaranteed and protected under the US Constitution. So, we don't really know what legal grounds they have for arresting and holding him, other than for getting information from him. Which ofcourse they will get! Legal grounds was one of the first casualties of the Bush administration long ago. Waterboarding and those other means of interrogation are extremely effective, and while they are at it, if legal grounds for detaining and interrogating him become necessary , it is a simple matter then to apply just one more turn of the screw, or one more dipping of the water, to evince a convincing confession for some heinous crime for which he can be charged and tossed even deeper into the can.
